Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management

The Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management is a 240 credit size qualification (UK), equivalent in size to the first two years of a bachelor’s degree.

These qualifications provide generic management skills for those planning to or working in a management role. The qualifications deliver the skills and knowledge that meet the needs of managers on a domestic and international platform.

We provide a flexible route for learners who have already achieved management qualifications at a lower level and for learners who do not have management qualifications, but may have qualifications in other areas and/or prior experience the work place.

Upon completion of the first year of this program students will receive an ATHE (Awards for Training in Higher Education) Level 4 Diploma in Strategic Management.

Upon completion of the second year of this program students will receive an Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management from the Institute of Management Specialists and also an ATHE (Awards for Training in Higher Education) Level 5 Extended Diploma in Management.

These qualifications are fully regulated by OFQUAL.

Graduates from this program will be eligible to continue their studies, by entering directly into the final two years of study at a range of UK Universities, Business Management Bachelor programs.

At Present the ATHE has specific agreements with the following UK universities:

- University of Sunderland London Campus
- Northampton University
- Coventry University
- Cardiff Metropolitan University
- Bolton University
- University of Bedfordshire

As these qualifications are OFQUAL approved, UK universities will generally accept the credits awarded to students.
